WASHINGTON (AFP) - Former US secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld's top policy aide produced dubious intelligence reports linking Saddam Hussein and the Al-Qaeda terror network to bolster the case for war with Iraq, according to a Pentagon investigation.

The work done by the Pentagon office headed by Douglas Feith was "inappropriate," though neither illegal nor unauthorized, according to portions of a classified report released Friday by Democratic Senator Carl Levin.

Just be thankful that the dems are wording this so as to NOT cause bush to be impeached. We all know from the last time a republican was about to be impeached, that if nixon had been, republicans would be committing MASS suiside.
And believe it or not neoclowns, even dems have respect for life. Even for bushbots.

On March 17, 2007, the 4th anniversary of the start of the criminal invasion of Iraq, tens of thousands of people from around the country will descend on the Pentagon in a mass demonstration to demand: U.S. Out of Iraq Now! 2007 is the 40th anniversary of the historic 1967 anti-war march to the Pentagon during the Vietnam War.

Why bother? The clown will be gone in a couple of years anyway, and we'd all be fiddling with the Impeachment proceedings while Iraq is going up in flames! Let's get our priorities straight- and figure our HOW were gonna get out of this Iraq nightmare before it gets any worse. If that's not preoccupying enough for you- how 'bout setting your sights on getting rid of some Republicans running for Office in '08? All the whining about Bush in the World- is not going to amount to a hill of beans if all of his supporters are still in Office after he's gone.

I remember listening to Rumsfeld speaking approximately this concept that later became into the identify of his e book, and noticing one obvious logical omission. He suggested that for the duration of Iraq, there have been "regular knowns", or issues we knew with fact; there have been "regular unknowns", or issues we've been conscious that we did no longer understand; and there have been "unknown unknowns" or issues that we did no longer understand we did no longer understand. He manifestly disregarded the class of "unknown knowns", or the failings we theory we knew, yet that have been in fact thoroughly fake. He additionally blew my strategies while he reported that we knew precisely the place Saddamn's prohibited WMD have been....."in the section around Baghdad and Tikrit, and particularly to the East, North, South, and West of there". No, he in no way made any blunders...

First "they'd" need to maybe "impeach" the longer-running UNSC.

As to alqaida in Iraq *I* know where they operated and they sure didn't do it without Saddam knowing, and Qusay did nothing about them. No it wasn't big operations but they were there.

You can't impeach Rumsfeld since he no longer holds a public office. I'm just saying, that's all.

Wow... you answered your own question: The work done was not illegal.

You have to have an actual crime to have an impeachment.

Sorry.
