I just had a baby and he is still in the NICU so I am always going up there. When he comes home I was thinking about walking around the mall. How did you lose your baby weight?

This would be an excellent way ...walking. Also watch your diet. Are you nursing? If your child is in the NICU I am assuming not. Just eat right so you don't get worn down. WALK WALK WALK. That's excellent form of excercise.

Breastfeed. My body was back to normal after 2 weeks. All I did was the pelvic floor exercises.
With my second it took about 1 month. But when I breastfeed I always lose more weight than just the pregnancy weight, so I end up like 5 or more kilo's lighter. Thats with normal eating patterns plus a bit more for my milk production Not everyone is like that though. it take's my aunt 18 months to get her normal body back.
Your best bet is to breastfeed, eat healty, and take walks with baby in the pram. Its good for baby as well as you to get out and breathe in some fresh air. And shopping is great exercise.

I didn't eat after 6:30 in the evening. I walked when i was really able to because i had a c-section. I would do sit-ups and just not eat so much but then again i only gained 10 pounds when i was pregnant.
I am sorry your baby is in the NICU and i hope he gets out soon. Congrats!

Usually your doctor will make you wait six weeks. I have a 7 week old and I was fortunate to have gained 10 lbs. Since having her I have lost 20, I walk some but thats it for now. My thoughts are with your family & baby.

I gained fifty pounds (i know alot) during my pregnancy and i lost all of it by six months. so just be patient. I lost all of it but ten pounds by the fifth month i think from breastfeeding and watching what i eat....but then I got the flu so that got rid of the last ten pounds.

so my adivce is when you are done breastfeeding to start really watch calories and I guess working out. or go get the flu (kidding)

good luck with your baby. I really hope you get to bring the little one home soon!

I lost most of it breastfeeding. I lost a lot walking, and after 8 weeks I started Pilates to get my tummy back in shape. Honestly, though, it's 18 months later and I still have 10 pounds on me. ugh...

I haven't
My original weight was 120
when I was preg I got to 159
now 139.
I exercise and eat in moderation, but my boobs and bottom are bigger...so might contribute to it.
