just wondering. I'm 15 and got this on an IQ test a while ago.

Depending on the type of IQ test yes. It would put you in the top 5% of people. 100 is average so you are 25-30% above the average american in intelligence.

That depends. Where did you take the test? At school? Or 'On-Line'? If it was a valid IQ test done by the people that know what they are doing, yes, that is very good. If it was one of those IQ tests they have on line... I hate to disappoint, but those tests are designed to make people think they are extremely intelligent and everybody scores high. They are simply trying to get your information so they can sell you something down the road (or worse). DO NOT give these people any of your info! BTW, does your mom know your logged onto YA?

You have to state what IQ test you got the score on if you really want to know if it is good or not. The score by itself means nothing. You could have achieved that on a poor online IQ test.
On properly standardized IQ tests, 130 would put you in the top 2% of the population and qualify you for mensa.

Here is a scale of IQ scores:
80-90 (below average)
90-110 (average intelligence)
111-121 (above average)
122-130 (highly intelligent)
131-141 (gifted)
142+ (genius - top 1%)

thats slightly above average. however intelligence quotient (iq) only measures a 'potential' for intelligence. so your score is meaningless unless you take advantage of it with school or work.

100 is average, if your score is 125 you are among only 5% of people that smart, I mean intelligent.
