I own my own adult business and the women I film DO actually like what they do. They do not have "pimps" making them do anything, and they say no to whatever they want. No one makes them do it. I get 100's of requests a week to star in my films. My fiance and I run the business together and everyone has fun on the set. Sorry, my actual question is where do people get the idea that porn is degrading to women?

I don't find it degrading... after all it's they that want to work in that industry... who finds it degrading for women shouldn't have that job, but why critizicing those who do, and as you say, enjoy the job? Do people think male porn actors degrade men? My point is... If you don't like those girls job... never become a porn actress... and shut up, they don't need anyone to look after them.

I'm of two minds about porn.
I consider myself sexually liberated, so I think that consenting adults should be able to do whatever they want, including make or watch porn.
However, the particular way that most porn portrays women disturbs me. They're often shown in subjugated positions, and they are often VERY young (that whole "barely legal" thing creeps me out). Also, the women don't really seem to be enjoying themselves, and the emphasis seems to be entirely on pleasing the man rather than the female. It sends the message that a woman's pleasure is secondary to the act, rather than equal. Then there's the whole body image aspect ... many young males get their idea of what a naked woman should look like from overly made up, silicone-enhanced, spray-tanned, teased-hair, airbrushed, fake blondes.
Having said all that, I don't think porn should be outlawed. I believe in freedom of speech and freedom of expression very strongly.

Well, I like porn. My wife loves the stuff to. We both enjoy porn. Alot. I know women that say it is degrading, but I havent met a guy yet who said that. I noticed that most of the ladies who find it offensive are not much to look at, and probably dont get the McPenis Fillet often, if ever. Maybe they are jealous that they arent getting gangbanged or tied up and spanked. My opinion here. And most people know that porn folks get paid, so it is a choice. No one is holding their family hostage to make films. If they (the haters) dont like porn, stop watching it you closet freaks!
