It doesn't bother me

How about you?

I prefer my own race and respect anyone else who does as well, no matter what color.

I'm with you totally on this topic. I sometimes get called racist (but who hasn't) but I've put it down as a new definition: a racist is someone who is winning an argument about race with a leftie!

But I don't see how one can be racist just because they, for example, don't date outside their own race. Whats so wrong with that?

They also love handing out the word "ignorant'. Thats so overused.

If i called someone a racist, I definitely wouldn't expect it to bother them.

But it does frustrate me when people call other people racist, when 9 times out of 10, that person is NOT a racist. Dating within your race, preferring to only live among your race, wanting to have your children play with children of their race, etc etc. That's not being racist. Reasons being wanting such things determine if you're racist or not, but just preferring to live among people who look like you is not racist!

So yeah, Ive never been called racist, but I've heard many people referred to as such, and it's frustrating because in most cases, these people don't deserve to be wrongly labeled.

I don't call other people racist because if I have to tell them that, they already know. What's the point of stating the obvious? I don't consider myself a racist. I love all people but I do have a special affinity for Blacks and Hispanics. Nothing against whites, I have white friends. Just personality wise I love Black and Latin people and would rather be around them. But not ghetto people though, I love to see and be around intelligent, articulate, successful minorities, those with drive and aspirations. Who ever has a problem with it, Oh well. Unlike the bigots on Y/A I don't hide behind the anonymity of the internet. There is a difference between hating other races and loving your own. I don't hate white people. I love ALL people. I just love Blacks and Latinos more. LOL

I assume most overt racist know they are racist. And people who dont believe they are racist are going to believe it just because I say so.

We are all God's children and one day you will have to answer how you treated them. Let's just say that you won't be entering those pearly gates with hatred in your heart. I hope you wise up one day and we realize that diversity is a wonderful thing and there is nothing you can do or think to change that. Get with the program and God. BTW, God bless you.

It bugs me because i don't discriminate against any religion or color. It's a lie for someone to say I do. Personally, i prefer my own race too, but that doesn't mean i'm racist. I don't think any one person can answer your question, because it depends on the person being called that.

Being a racist and preferring your own race (as in dating) is not the same. If however, you prefer your own race in every other area as well, then you are a racist. If that doesn't bother you then great. maybe someday it will.

Doesn't bother me either. Last time I looked, being racist wasn't illegal (although the thought police would like to make it so). People may not agree with racism and that's fine. But it is a free country and you are still allowed to be racist if you want to. As long as you are not violent with other races, you are allowed to feel how you feel.

If you want to be a racist, be one. No one is going to loose any sleep over it.

Are you a racist, because you said it doesn't bother you. Someone must have called you a racist.
