Pizza possibly, alcohol NEVER.

Arizona had an interesting idea to get more people to vote. Everyone who votes' name is put into a lottery. Whoever name is picked out of the hat, wins one million dollars.

Not in Tennessee, I forget the what the law actually says but it is illegal here to have alcohol within a certain distance of the voting booths so beer will never be served. If a store sells beer close to a voting booth they have to either lock it up or take it off the shelves on election days. They made that law because politicians use to get people drunk before they went into vote back in the day.

jeez... I dont think that we need to bribe people to do their civic duties to vote. And if they do then thats sad. It saddens me that the younger generation of today doesn't care as much as they used to. When I was standing in line this last election, I counted about 5 other people as young as i am in a line of over 100. To me, that's pathetic. I wont even go on their level and try to offer incentives to get them to the polls. If you need to offer beer, you're probably going to get people that aren't educated in the issues and dont really care about voting- they are just there for the beer- and then what sort of effect will that have on the outcome?

Another Great Question! Take something out of Petty Cash! If the Liberals, knew, that it'd get `em some Votes? We'd already been having it. But that is so disgusting of a thought!

Beer and alcohol ran freely around voting time during the Founders days. Then the prudish religious people took over.

Taptaptaptap - we're waiting.....

If it happens then the voting turn out will be 110% ,Some of the people will assume the false identities of the dead people in order to vote again.

Better than the plate of cookies that they serve now. Do you know how many people have fingered those things? I shudder at the thought.

Democrats drive low income voters to polls and then stop along the way to enable the voters to do their errands, and there have been instances of giving out food.....so I guess my answer is.....maybe in St. Louis.....

Sure, that is just what America needs, an electorate that is intoxicated as they cast their solemn vote. Who knows, it might actually clear up some of the voter confusion!
