Calm down first of all. When i was 10 to 12 weeks i used to get cramps and worried, but the hospital told me it was just my stomach expanding and making room for baby and nothing to worry about. If you are worrried, get checked out. Oh and tell granny to stop frightening the crap out of you. I know ppl who have smoked during pregnancy (not recommended) and their baby's where fine.

Good for you!! I'm so proud of you for quiting smoking!! Your pregnancy has nothing to do with your sisters loss. My sister had a still born while I was pregnant ~ I know your fears first hand.
It is quite normal to have some craps and aches and pains all through pregnancy. If it gets severe, then call your doctor to ease your mind.

The uterus is surrounded by tendons, etc which will stretch as your abdomen and uterus expand to accomodate the growing fetus. This is normal, although somewhat nerve inducing when you are experiencing it!
Good luck and congratulations! :)

you will have light cramping and pulling in your lower abdomen as your uterus grows. tell your doctor about it but he will probably tell you if it gets worse or unbearable then go to the e.r. also if u have any bleeding go to the e.r. good luck
