Anna Nicole Smith died at age 39. What do others think about this? Why all the mean things being said about her? She had her problems but she was a good woman in my eyes!

We all have issues in life & make choices that aren't always the best. She was just a girl who wanted to be famous & noticed. She wanted what's known as recognition & she chose the glame life to get. She's certainly not the first. Nor will she be the last. I say, give the girl credit for what she did achieve even if it's not to you're (not you sweetie) liking. People who put her down & say mean things about her are either just truely hateful or jealous because they didn't have the guts she did. She did what she wanted to & achieved success & hurt noone. Too bad the people around her weren't as kind. May she rest in peace!

I agree, people need to stop bashing her. Even before she died people were hating on her , people say horrible things about her, saying she is drugged up & cant speak... noone knows what she was going thru, her song dies, she has a newborn that every guy that was in her life is now fighting over. No "regular" ( and by that i mean non-celebrity) person could deal with that, let alone being thrown in to the spotlight at her most vunerable time and noone leaving her alone for 1 second. I dont understand how ppl can be so cruel. May she & her son rest in peace & god bless her family.

I don't know and really don't care. No one knows what she did or didn't do. The media needs to spend more time on things that matter. I do however feel sorry for her daughter who will have to grow up without her mother. It is a shame when anyone dies but she really is not significant. She has not done anything of significance, she isn't a hero. She isn't really famous, she is more infamous. There is a difference.

yes, pathetic figures have such a strong tug on the american heartstrings-
she was a tramp who posed nude-did "b" grade softcore porn-married the dumbest/luckiest old guy w/ tons of cash-screwed a family out of millions-got fat-had a DISGUSTING reality show-
got skinny-I imagine more meds & not over the counter drugs (if you get my drift)-doesnt look like she can form a coherent sentence for the life of her-
loses a kid (yeah...thats a tough deal being the son of that nutcase) has a kid (now 3 guys claim its "theirs"-wouldnt shock me if all 3 are the father!!!) and now drops dead.
Humanity is lost.

No great loss there. She was a despicable human being. She played the bimbo by posing for Playboy, she played super-bimbo by marrying a man 50 years older for his money, claiming that she really loved him for who he was, then went to court for years trying to get his money (which was what she was after in the first place), then when she was losing the limelight she resorted to reality TV. She was NOT a good woman. She was a cold, calculating, manipulative, shallow "it's all about me" BEE-OTCH!

She took the cheap path to power and fell on her face in the end. I think she was killed by her opponents in the estate battle.
