"Anybody but Bush" is not an answer. I want to know if you are really passionate about anyone who is in the running so far?

So far it is a crap shoot, no one impresses me with ideas and experience and charisma that can win an election.

Time enough to get excited when the candidates begin showing their true colors, kind of like a pirate flag being run up at the last moment before the attack begins.

Mitt Romney looks like the best of the bunch right now, by reason of superior intellect, experience, honesty and devotion. Check out Wikipedia on this. Note that former Senator Jim Talent of Missouri, an acknowledged "straight-arrow" statesman, supportings Romney. This is a great endorsement of Romney.

Too early to get excited. The majority of potential candidates have not even declared yet. Honestly speaking though, I have not been excited about any presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan. Too many of the elections in recent years have become a matter of bad and worse. I wish another candidate would come along who could rekindle my believe in honor, integrity, discipline and an honest love of the country and it's people. Unfortunately, based on the people who will most likely be running I do not believe the 08 election is going to do that for me.

Yes.

He was born in humble circumstances in Maryland in 1968.

His name? Bill.

The platform?

- If it's stupid for the federal government to fund it, let's not fund it. Studies to find the flow rates of ketchup are not effective or worthwhile government spending.

- If it's stupid for it to be against the law, let's not make it against the law.

- If it's stupid for it to be a legal provision, let's not make it one.

- Every last vote that a Senator or Congressman makes should be a matter of record, now and always...it's a crock that they can evade reporting the yeas and nays

- It's obscene that the Congress can give themselves higher percentage raises than the American people get. If Congress wants a 3% raise, then they should have to give the minimum wage workers 3%.

- Laws which regulate consensual sexual behavior between adults must end. We simply have no business there.

- Wars which do not have an articulable end goal and which do not benefit any Americans not holding political office shouldn't be waged.

- All prissy censoring weenies need to be fired from the FCC. The FCC regulates TV and radio transmissions. TVs and radios come with OFF buttons. Use them or be quiet about it.

- The Federal government does not need to be funding the arts. If you want to be that art-welding chick from Flashdance, go pick up a torch and some torn sweatshirts and do it. Just don't expect my tax dollars to fund it.

- Angelina Jolie is wicked hot.

Vote Bill. Because it's time America made some damn sense again.

I am. Looks like the race is going to be the biggest "free for all" in my lifetime. At the rate it's going, we're going to be hard pressed to find anyone who ISN'T running for president in '08!!! I CAN get "worked up" about a couple of the people currently running. -But I really WISH Gore would run. He'd REALLY liven up the "process", and there would be NO TELLING how it all would shake out. Time will tell...

I am not excited. Although I disagree with Republicans on almost all fronts (I am anti-abortion), I only ever voted for Bush. I think he is a great president and I wish he could run again.

i might rather choose to work out this election: McCain - Republican Candidate Edwards Pres/Obama vp - Democratic applicants Lieberman - autonomous Nader - eco-friendly i could be extremely joyful to combine areas of each and every of those adult adult males to make an outstanding president yet that may not take place, what with the cloning ban and all.

I can't say I'm jumping up and down though.

I like that unity 08 thing- maybe if we combined some parties it would be better

I am still researching,Duncan Hunter maybe? Or Tom Tancredo. They seem more interested in American citizens and not just getting rich and letting our country go to hell.
