Why do people who date outside their race, date people less than perfect???

By that I mean, someone who cheats on you, abuses you, or disrespects you. Like someone who has bad teeth, trashy and nasty looking, or dumb *** hell.

Because in black men-white women relationships, the woman doesn't look all that good. But whenever I see white men-black women relationships, the woman is decent looking.

And there's the abuse issue. More white women than black women are involved in abusive relationships, that I have seen.

If I date a white man or whoever, he HAS to be decent looking like me. And treat me with the same kindness and respect that I would give to him.

I'm not talking about celebrities. I'm talking about everyday people.

I don't think that that is always true. It's probably coincidence. People from any race can be nice and good looking or mean and abusive and ugly. And no one's perfect anyway.

You obviously don't live where I live. Well, through my daily bus rides I have been observing the attitudes of each race. Black woman --- they take no crap from anyone and stand up to themselves. Their fear less. Some white woman are like that but very few. That's my explanation of why white woman tend to be in an abusive relationship. Now to answer as to why black guys date white not so good looking girls. Well, Maybe they just want to get some easy @ss, but than again, they said love is blind... Every situation is different so I can't really narrow it down... I'm not quite sure what you are saying...........bu that is a great thing to point out to people. And the thing about you dating someone, you got the part with " same kindness and respect that I would give to him" but not the part of desent looking. And yout main question: I'm not qiute sure...it totally dpends on their personality. I don't think thats true at all. If you have no self esteem, you don't think that you can do any better, but if you are strong and confident, you will not allow your self to be treated that way. I must say though, in my opinion, in mixed race relationships I have seen beautiful men with busted womaen in both races . Some people see beyond color, race, teeth etc, and want to be with some one who loves them and makes them feel good. Try visiting a big city like boston or new york...you'll see many beautiful couples and many ugly, and everything in between.I can't answer your question but It's good you respect yourself

Just remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. maybe you are being a little materialistic in your thoughts...but i am not sure as i had a hard time reading your question.

I also think you may be jumping to conclusions about people and making a very broad statement...this might be true for some of the people you know, or for the people that you see from the places YOU go, but I don't think this statement has any validity for the entire population of interracial couples!! what scares me though, is the mindset that even let you notice this...ok, we are all people watchers at some point, but i wouldn't be looking at the couples as having any color...just people...some relationships are great looking with great looking, some are not attractive with not attractive and then others are Great looking with unattractive.

I agree 100%. For me to step out of the race, he has to be perfect for me. And most of these Black men don't have high standards from what i've seen. The white girl is trashy, ugly, no class. It's offending. So, If I date someone white, I dare a Black man to criticize me. I'll let him have it.

I don't think that is necessarily true about what you have seen. My daughter is hispanic and white and she is beautiful and she married the kindest most wonderful classy man in the world and he is black. He is not abusive at all to my daughter and i would hope she is not abusive to him. He is a jewel and so is my daughter. Remember one thing, no one is perfect only Jesus was perfect.....
