No, it's just part of life. It's something you do from a young person and it is a comfort and something you know and are very comfortable with. It's just different from s e x and shouldn't be a threat to you. That is if he still has s e x with you too! And the fact that you know shows that you have good communication and he's not ashamed to tell you or let you know! I have no trouble letting my husband know that I do. Even though he pleases me, I still like to be alone sometimes. It's ok if people don't want to admit that, but I think it's true of a lot of people if they'd be honest. So, no, don't be jealous! Maybe you need to do the same!!!

I've been there and I'd say if you're jealous then it's causing a problem in your relationship.

I think my DH started masturbating when I was sick and wasn't feeling in the mood. For that I was grateful but then I would wake up in the middle of the night and he was doing it. And that grew more frequent. The last straw was to wake to him masturbating the night before he was heading away for 3 weeks. NO MORE!

I made sure he knew I was having a problem with it and we both spent that time thinking about it. It came to me that I needed to make myself available more often and to initiate sex more often. It came to him that the foreplay it took (rather than a quick run for himself) had more meaning than just some great sex. We both had to realize that our relationship together was more important and that sex together was one way we were making each other feel loved.

Remember, to make a marriage work sometimes you have to find a balance, even in bed.

How? Thats what it depends on.. with other girls? (May include magazines i.e pic of other girls doesn't have to be only real girls).
Also why do u wanna be jealous? U can do that too when he refuses u & u want it bad. Actually then its gonna be hard for him to stay okay, just to watch u pleasure urself. So..... the choice is urs.

there's 2 kinds of guys in the world.

1. the kind of guy that pleasures himself
2. liars

It's really not a big deal to **** it once in a while, just to release some pent up energy. If it takes over the sex drive for you though, then ask about it in a mellow way. Maybe you could help him out with it too, that might be a new twist for him.

You are, by your question, asserting that you ARE jealous. Therefore, this event must not seem right to you. If it does not seem right to you, then you are likely being slighted by your husband. If he is aware that you know about this behaviour then it would be time to tell him how it makes you feel. If his self-indulgence steals from your relationship, when you are willingly standing by, something is wrong. It is time to talk frankly and ask him for an explanation.

Wow. Control freak much?

Be prepared to be jealous at least once a day and 5 times on weekends.

Get over it. It has nothing to do with you or others or anything else. We've been given a gift and we have to use it.

I could be wrong, but I've heard that it's different from what they feel when they're with us. It's totally different according to many sources, so I'd say no, there's no need to be jealous.

depends. Is it because he's not getting pleasure from you? Then no you shouldnt be jealous. Is he doing it because he doesnt want pleasure from you? Then you should be jealous.

I wouldn't be jealous. This is something all men do, and for the most part most women. As long as he isn't neglecting you physically, I would not be too concerned.

Not at all. Sometime we just want to DIY! But if he does it exclusively, and is not interested in a sexual relationship with you, then i would say he has a problem. Is he doing it out of consideration for you, when you are tired for instance?
