A fetus isn't a baby until it is born while a baby seal is obviously an animal outside the womb and has survived birth. These are apples and oranges.
What about the people on the right? Do you support Vladimir Putin who is restricting freedoms and increasing corruption in Russia? And, you do realize that the totalitarian government in the USSR was a rightist government even if communism is leftist?
Abortion is just one issue that might describe a person on the left. It isn't necessarily the biggest issue. But, rightists often see the world as black and white. The things is that liberals tend to see it as shades of gray. So, I understand why this concept might be hard for you to comprehend.

I don't support Chavez. I am anti-abortion, but the Leftists never make any sense. If you think about it, both the Right and the Left should be against abortion, even though for different reasons. The Left will freak out if a baby seal gets clubbed (barbaric practice) but will go ballistic if one suggests that an unborn baby is alive. The Left should be anti-abortion because they are supposed to be the voice of those who have no voice. I can think of no better candidate then an unborn child.

News Flash! There were many Democrats elected to office in 2006 that are pro-life. It's the coming wave. It's been too many years that Republicans have been winning elections based solely on the abortion issue. Democrats are sick of it and adopting anti-abortion positions. They, like the Republicans, know that abortion will still happen whether it is legal or illegal. So why give "all you rightists" an issue to play politics with?
I hate to burst your bubble, but Democrats do not all think alike! This is one of the great lies that Rush's dittoheads (notice that, in the spirit of bipartisanship, I didn't say "dimwitheads") have been brainwashed to believe: that all Democrats believe the same thing. If you've ever been to any Dem meeting, it'll take about 30 seconds to be disabused of the notion that all Democrats think alike.
Stop letting Rush Limbaugh do your thinking for you, friend.

Not being a single issue voter in America, I'm not a single issue citizen of the world, either. Hey, if we get a country with free health care, education, paid maternity leave, etc etc etc ala the socialist democracies, the need for abortions will drop dramatically.
Anyway, if this is what Hugo has to do to get social justice for all, he's a wise man to do it.

stable one...The U.S., alongside with something of the worldwide (UN) is on the element of the rule of regulation simply by fact they have pop out in help of a democratically elected president over an unlawful militia coup. If Zelaya has committed an offense he needs to be bumped off legally. 2 wrongs do no longer make a superb!

Because he's a political animal who knows that the base that supports him is against abortion, and he doesn't want to alienate them. Just like Bush.
