are you able to download media from a motorola V220. don't have any software to load onto my pc for it?

the motorola v220 had a usb port on the side. my pc recognises it,but nothing happens re downloading data from it.

I used to have this phone. It does have accompanying software to upload and download pics, music, etc. The software disc you need is called Motorola Phone Tools. I tried to find a downloadable copy of it on the Motorola website, but to no avail. You should be able to buy a copy either direct from their website, or from your local mobile phone retailer. They may have to order it specifically, but ask them and they'll soon tell you. By the way, this phone has a limited memory, which is not expandable, so it can't do songs, only ringtones.
