My husband has been home on leave from Iraq for a little over 10 days and my period is due in another week. I haven't had sex for 3 months prior to his deployment and we had sex for the first time in months on the 30th of January (more following that day) and I am pretty sure as a result of not using any form or fashion of protection that I am pregnant. I already have been feeling so tired and queasy, but not badly. Is it possible to have symptoms like that that at only 2 weeks pregnant (assuming I am)? What pregnancy test is the most accurate earliest? My last period was around the 16 of January.

I just would really like to know if I am before my husband returns to Iraq so I can tell him in person.

First Response is the best - it detects up to 5 days sooner, but you have to be producing the HCG hormone in your urine. Your best bet is to wait until you've missed a period.
If you know how many days past ovulation you are you can check your symptoms here: twoweekwait.com

If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

A blood test will show if you are pregnant or not 7 days following conception.
Good luck

With my two children I found out as soon as I missed my period (6 weeks pregnant). There are some tests out there that supposedly detect the HCG hormon sooner (like 5 days before a missed period) but I haven't tried those. I didn't have pregnancy symptoms that early on though, Good luck, hope I helped.

U may test yr self ; u can buy the ( Discover Clear Blue Test ) from any pharmacy, It could detect hormone (gonadotropin) which will be available in the uric once u get pregnant!
its very cheap and will take minuts!

The early stages of pregnancy is often discovered by using a pregnancy test. In the post-implantation phase the blastocyst secretes a hormone namedhuman chorionic gonadotropin which in turn, stimulates the corpus luteum in the woman's ovary to continue producing progesterone. This acts to maintain the lining of the uterus so that the embryo will continue to be nourished. The glands in the lining of the uterus will swell in response to the blastocyst, and capillaries will be stimulated to grow in that region. This allows the blastocyst to receive vital nutrients from the woman. Pregnancy tests detect the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin.

while your era is previous due. supply it a pair of days after your predicted era could come and if there nevertheless is not any sign of it, you're able to take a being pregnant attempt. be certain to apply your first pee of the day because of the fact it has greater hormones in it, which makes the attempt greater precise. *P.S. paying for 2 assessments isn't a foul theory, merely be certain to apply them on diverse days.

Don't know if your symptoms are real - probably wishful thinking ?? I did a home pregnancy test really early in my pregnancy, and it went positive. (I hadn't even missed a period at that stage) Use your pee from first thing in the morning.
