If you Nationalise the utilities such as the Electric board ,the Gas Board ,and the Water board all the suplus profits can be put into Health,Education and other things. After all it was allways owned by the people for the people untill the Tories sold it off ,how can you sell somthing that does not belong to you?

The tories sold it for peanuts now it will cost a fortune to buy back.I do not understand why the lottery is not government run
over countries are and the money is ploughed into roads etc ours could go to the NHS,Schools etc insted it goes to Arts were mainly the people who have money benifit.

The reason they were sold off in the first place is because they were losing money not making profits! The bosses had no incentive to work, no need to worry about whether they made a profit and couldn't care less about customer service etc.
How do I know? I'm old enough to remember!

yes yes yes yes yes - and the public transport system too - it makes so much more sense. if they were nationalised a more green policy could be put into place too. unfortunately things are going the opposite way with.

a bit of logic is desperately needed x

Idea is good, but the government will never put the money where they promise.
