In electronics, a B battery is any battery used to provide the plate voltage of a vacuum tube. It is sometimes colloquially referred to as a "dry battery" (although there's no reason why a "wet" battery of suitable voltage couldn't be utilised for the purpose) The term comes from the days of valve (tube) radios when it was common practice to use a dry battery for the plate (Anode) voltage and a rechargeable lead/acid "wet" battery for the filament voltage.

There are. It's just a very uncommon size.
For a period of time in the early 20th Century there WERE in fact B batteries. They were used to supply the ANODE voltage ( Plate voltage ) in vacuum tube devices like early radio equipment. With the improvements that soon followed in converting AC to DC, it became less expensive to 'develop' the B voltage from a circuit called a 'power supply' and use of B batteries was confined to 'portable' devices.
With the development of the transistor, B voltage was no longer needed at all, and B batteries virtually disappeared from the market.

enough with all this scientific mumbo jumbo. The simple truth of the matter is that a B battery is useless as it is not required for any of the common household appliances known as...vibtators.
HA, now there is your answer in a nutshell. lol
