my probe when it idle at the right rpm wich is 750 to 800 rpm some times it will hit 500 and then it will die in stead of going back up and you cant restart the car at all when it does that and i was wondering whats up with that and whats wrong with it

Go to an automotive parts store and buy the Haynes repair manual for your model and make of vehicle. They will have the answers they.

But it sounds like you may need a tune up. When you get gas in it, add some gas additive to clean your injectors and plugs. Change the fuel filter. In otherwords, when was the last time you pulled any maintenance under the hood. Buy the book.

It's a Ford Probe, aka a P-O-S. Best off getting a reliable car that won't drain your wallet.

good luck with that ford probes are a mazda ford abortion from the start good luck even pulling codes , check the air intake tube between the mass air flow or vane air flow and make sure ther are no cracks or splits in it beyond that i have no suggestions
