This little gem I found reading a book:

"What Lies Behind Us, And What Lies Before Us; Are Tiny Matters Compared To What Lies Within Us"
-Oliver Wendell Holmes

Then there's the one I came up with:

"Life, as a sexually-transmitted condition, still persists due to our fascination with its inner workings; the Intangibles, like Love and Spirituality, are exactly the enablers that cause this condition that we call Life, to regenerate" -EPK

My mother told me that "sometimes the worst thing that can happen to someone is to get what they yearned for". There are times that I have had just that happen to me. It is inspiring when, even now, I want things that I think will be wonderful, and then I remember what she said and I let fate take its course.

I've always loved this one....If you spend today dreading tomorrow, you'll spend tomorrow regretting today.

And this one...a teacher, a nun, said this to me, once....There is nothing so desperate as someone who is desperate. I didn't understand it...until many years later...
