The one thing I immediately noticed upon entering your site, there was no explanation of exactly what the site was about. Remember, you have 2-3 seconds to keep a visitors attention, or their gone. If I were you, I'd put a small paragraph, perhaps 3-4 sentences on exactly what your site is about and what it will do for them, how it can help and why. You already stated that "the site provides user generated 'how-to tutorials', so that's a good place to start.
Nice concept, by the way.

You can make it better by including the page heading in the title of each page... it will help with search engine ranks.
But everything else looks great :D
