Depends what you concider expensive and depends on what the problem is. Sounds to me like a tie rod got bent. Take it to an alignment shop. If a new part is too expensive. Offer to pick a used one up from a wrecking / salvage yard. Hopefully just the wheel got bent. In that case the wheel would wobble as you drive. Good luck.

Take it in for an estimate. They should not charge you for it. It could be just a bent suspension part, about $100, or frame damage, as much as $2500. Go to a tire shop that does front end work first; if they say the frame is bent, then it is time to go to a body shop.

Depends on how bad the accident was. It could be as simple as a bent tie rod, or as bad as a bent subframe. I sincerely doudt the wheel is bent, if that were the case, you'd know right away (it would wobble violently). Definitely take it to a body shop, the money you would spend to get it looked at normally is put toward the repairs, if you have it fixed there.

Take it too an alignment shop asap.Do not go to a body shop just yet.A good alignment shop can tell you if its just a tie rod, bent frame,castor/camber adjustment needs fixing.Alignment shop is the best bet and less expensive.

It very well could be, but the folks that you spoke to are correct. They must be able to put a set of eyes on the damage. You may have to replace the front suspension (could be bent) as an example. May be a broken strut. Several possibilities.

could be a bent tie rod... part is prolly around 40 bucks, prolly 40-50 to put it on and another 50 for an alignemnt
it could also be structural damage.. it is best to get it checked out professinally a body shop with a frame machine could be sure of any structural deformaty

It is a relatively cheap fix. Sounds like you need a new wheel and possibly an alignment. Both can be done for about $200.

depends if its bent, how far its bent, and if can be adjusted with normal alighnment adjustments, if your steering knukle is bent expecnt to pay a junk yard about 100 bucks for it and 1 to 2 hours of labor to install it. and about the same if its the A arm thas bent, so all together about 150-240, if thats all thats bent.

The sway/tortion(?) bar is probably bent. Hopefully NOT the frame. Take the vehicle to your local (trustworthy) alignment shop for an analysis. Process of elimination...OK?
