I am really loving this program I have never enjoyed period drams before but this is brilliant.

I will be! I love it aswell. I've never been one for period dramas but I thinkit mixes serious issues of the day with a little bit of comedy, making it one of the best things on tv at the moment.

I love it and it makes a change to have something worth watching on the BBC on a Friday. we need more like it. i have to record Ugly Betty though.

I think it's a great dose of social history and very watchable. Love the era, glad I wasn't there. It was a tough time.
