Nice and as designer myself, i find sites that are simple are usaly the best.
I think you could include some more text telling the user what your site is about and how it benifits the user on the main page.

Its present day, clean and, maximum critically to shoppers or inquisitors - handy. i individually like your first layout as its straightforward, and its rather worry-free to navigate. needless to say i've got not examined your new layout for navigation as that is not any longer yet hosted, even though it seems good. My purely suggestion is to no longer over-complicate the layout, as one in each and every of its considerable sights is its simplicity, yet different then that its a ok designed website - properly executed!

I like the idea of the website and it should be easy to use. I am not getting a profile to check it further though.
