Yes.
I'll never understand how any woman could belong to the christian or islamic religions -- men, sure. But women...?
All of the dogma of these religions teaches that women are nothing but property belonging to men. That some more "liberal" churches today don't necessarily follow that dogma is commendable, but it's all still there in their holy books. What a crock...

14 is the reason I see most often. In the vast majority of cases, when a woman has a date coming up she goes and gets her nails done, maybe even her hair, maybe gets a wax, and even oftentimes goes shopping for a new outfit. By the time she sits at the table with you she's most likely already spent 100 dollars or so and spent hours putting it all together. No, you didn't ask her to do this, but you sure appreciate it don't you? I mean, when you open the door and she looks amazing and has put all that effort into pleasing you, don't you like it? Well, it's the same principal behind the man paying. The woman doesn't *ask* her date to do this, but it is sort of expected, AND appreciated, in the same way. FYI, I don't go by this myself. I have always offered to pay and usually end up happily splitting it. I don't have a problem with it at all. But the above scenario is just generally what I see from most everyone else. And though I see guys complain about being expected to pay, I never heard girls complaining that their date hasn't really spent much time, money, or effort on himself at all.

It's not just women that men have forced into submissive roles by using religion. Jim Jones and David Koresh are perfect examples of this.

Every religion ever invented, has been for the primary benefit of the alpha females, who seek to control all men, and the beta females.

Observing things in life, how things are etc is a sure way to tell you that:
EVERYTHING IS UP FOR ABUSE.
What you really want is to go the other way and not accept ABUSE of any kind.

Nope.
I believe a lot of this is the own negative self talk of women.
Women are far harder on each other than men could ever be.
I know my ex-wife thought much harder of herself than I ever did. She believed her self-talk and could not believe that she was loved (that's my theory anyway) and left, looking for love.
I hear the same tale, over and over again from many others.
I think women do themselves in far more than men could ever harm them.

I don't believe they have. I'm more annoyed with women who cry "victim" and oppression and all that bullsh@# and constantly look for things to ***** about men about.

Not all men.
I do believe organized religion is used to control people. Perhaps some men would use religion as a tool to manipulate their women.
Some marriage vows say love, honor and OBEY. They really should say love, honor and partner-up.
