not really, honey. Do you have other OCD type symptoms? Do you check & re-check things, like wondering if you left the iron on? Frequent hand-washing that your friends think is too often? Have to straighten things up into a line? Look online & find an OCD self-test. It will be easy to avoid chalk through your life, but not paper.

I am so with you!! I have a degree in Psychology and I believe it's normal! I have always hated the feeling of chalk and newspaper. I used to work as a dental assistant and I hated the powdered gloves. I had to wash my hands every time I took them off.

It's normal! I cannot stand to rub jeans, like if I am wearing a pair, I cannot touch them sometimes. It just makes me cringe all over. And I hate to feel chalk as well, it also makes me cringe! I can't stand it!!!

I dislike chalk as well. I always disliked it, and when I was at school we had to write on blackboards with chalk. I really disliked the fact that it left the chalk powder on my hands, felt like they were really dirty.

Its a little strange. But everyone has their own weird thing...I don't like heights...which is probably a little more common than your deal...but hey...who's to say what's "normal" and what isn't.
