I seriously doubt it. I'm sure they get more money from the government if they say things like that.

Smoking is a threat, yes, along with weight problems, air pollution, and more.
No, some people can't help having a weight problem so don't get it in your little head that exercise and less food would help because most of the times, it does NOT.

its being simplistic
what of the non smokers getting lung cancer from micro particles like egsaust fumes and asbestus,
in australia 19 ,ooo annually are said to be smoking related ,
but no autopsy evidence
its easier to make a statistic blamming some thing they can change [people smoking] than to stop the small particulate from transport and polution ,and asbestos
the biggest threat to health is legal [perscribed ]drugs 3 jumbo jets EACH day die from adverse reaction to perscribed medication ,these stats get hidden in the smoking stats
they are the real and present danger
not smoking docters perscribbing legal drugs.

UNIVERSAL health care? I should think not. There are so many places where people are living with unclean water, unsanitary conditions of the home and environment, starvation, diseases such as AIDS, various parasitical conditions, and little or no health care available. Mothers-to-be have no prenatal care, infant mortality rates are very high, children do not receive immunizations or even the basic care by doctors. In addition there is the threat of death from venomous snakes, poisonous insects and wild animals. I do not believe smoking is by any means the threat these other conditions pose.

simply by fact in a feeling that is in basic terms like socialized medicine. and besides the indisputable fact that this is government run, the nice and snug button is often money. all people remains going to would desire to pay out of pocket for fees. they do no longer seem to be going to be waiting to get the attempting out and scientific care they prefer in a well timed way if in any respect simply by fact all people and their mom would be coated up. there is by no ability sufficient investment to pay for some thing like this. Why do you think of they pay 70% taxes interior the united kingdom?

Very likely. That and alcoholism, illicit drug abuse, and adulteration of most common American foods with huge amounts of sugar...
Under the present headset, all of the above problems will cost the lion's share of any resources being spent on prolonging American lives and the quality of those lives.

The biggest threat to universal health care would be obesity. The vast majority of Americans are fatazzes and this contributes to heart disease and diabetes.

It's one, along with obesity-related diseases like heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke and diabetes, which are exploding in this country. People eat terrible and don't exercise.
