Yes, you can. That's why the doctors tell you no sex for 6 weeks. Because you're not on any birth control. My friend got pregnant exactly 2 weeks after she had her first child.

Yes you can. You don't have to have a period to ovulate. IF you ovluated after having the baby and had unprotected sex then yes it is very possible. My sister-in-law had a child and then she got pregnant the next month and then had another child 10 months later. They are 11 months apart.

um yeah! your DR tells you not to have sex for at l;east 6 weeks for a reason! your body is not really ready for the stress of carrying another child and your nutrients are zapped, while it is possible..it's not healthy, and you could lose it. i don't know how you found the time in the first 4 weeks anyway..i was too busy taking care of my child to have sex. oh and in case your dr didn't tell you or you obviously were not listening..but you are more fertile after having a child. and no you don't have to have a period to get preg. it takes a few weeks for your cycle to regulate again (which is another reason to wait..becasue you body hasn't revamped itself yet) good luck..

Oh yes! You are in a very fertile situation right after having a baby because your pregnancy hormones are still in action.

Yes. You ovulate before you have your period, so you can definately get pregnant without your first post-baby period.

yes, but it's not very likely.
breastfeeding reduces the odds of getting pregnant, and may cause you to skip a period. Are you breastfeeding?

Absolutely yes.
You could have just ovulated for the first time and not had a chance to have a period.
Especially if you are bottlefeeding.
