confidence in onself is crucial to success. no matter what occupation a person engages in, he/she must exude an appearance of confidence in order for other people to gain trust and belief that the person is competent. anything less will create a sense of doubt and uncertainty in a person's ability to perform a job with professional aptitude.

Confidence in oneself is the line of success and failure. I had swagger and was on my way to law school. I believed I controlled my life and everything around me and nothing could stnad in my way. I graduated from college in May with a very good GPA and had a good LSAT diagnostic score before I started studying. That was all until this past June my little brother was killed 2 days before his high school graduation. Since then my confidence has been shot my LSAT scores dropped 10 points and took months to get it back to where i was at. In one month I watched my life go to hell and still have not recovered the confidence I had and everyone around me sees it as well. Without self confidence you will never become anyone in this world.

I think having confidence in yourself is very important to how you will live your life and the decisions you make. When you are self confidant, you tend to be able to trust your decisions and make appropriate ones for you and your life. A person who lacks confidence may hold themselves back from accomplishing or going after what they really want in life because they don't believe they can acheive it. Also if you lack confidence in yourself you tend to be influenced by others more rather than feeling good enough to follow your own dreams.

Confidence is everything to Oneself, anything you do it derives from your confidence level. For example: Someone with low confidence levels is easier to manage, people with low confidence don't always go for what they want, usually are the followers and not the leaders. I hope this can help.

If I may, confidence is a weaker concept than happiness, one needs to be happy with their self so they can be confident enough to take challenges and run the risk of not succeeding at some task. Confidence is so fragile, whereas, happiness is solid. Be happy with yourself, it is the most important thing.
