You said the magic words that you can sleep better and you make better grades if you can find things a lot easier. Well that is a great reason to spend at least 15 minutes each day organizing and straightening up your room. After a while it will just be a routine and habit for you. One way is better concentration on sticking with the routine and don't allow any interruptions for those special 15 minutes. That's really all it takes to clean and organize your room. I have timed myself on some jobs around my house and most of the time it is actually getting the job done faster and better. Wish you best of luck and keep up the good work.

Lol, join the club, my whole house is messy. Try living with 2 kids under age 2 and a husband who seems to not know what a trash can looks like, then you'll see what messy really is! Luckily he finally felt sorry for me and instead of cleaning up his own messes, he hired a maid to help me. Starts next Monday! Woohoo! Lmao! ;)

Oh can I relate to this question!!! I am a clutter freak from the word GO......wish it were other wise but as it is, that is how it stands.If it were different I would be so happy but as it is, I am indeed a clutter freak and thank goodness I have extra energy today and after this question, i will be cleaning up, more than just a bit.....i saw this question and HAD to reply chuckling to myself about it, as it has been a thread of consistency and one that I wish I didn't feel so lazy about!!!! Thanks for reminding me lol......well I want it cleaned and i am the only one doing it!!!! So here goes...yo uwould have to remind me...now I feel a little guilty.....still smiling, hope this finds y uwell and have a good weekend!!!!!

My room at my parent's house is a total MESS. I stay at my boyfriend's a lot so when ever I do go home I do not feel like cleaning it up.

my room is very clean and fragrant, really
but when i used to be a teen my room was always messy, probably because i didn't care about disorder.
