I had a front end problem. I changed my brakes and they wore off at a diagonal cut. High on one side and low on the other side. The tire was out of alignment. First time I have ever seen this.

If you got the money go to brake check. In Texas the LIFETIME alignment is $100. So I get it now and then a year later or even 6 months and it pays itself off. Also, check with brake check on the computer in your area. In San Antonio, you can reserve times and get up to 30%. The TV ad said 20% but I guess some slow shops offer 30%. You need to check on this if it is for parts or parts and labor. Anyway, get a front end alignment done when your brakes wear unevenly like that. You should notice some wear on the outer or inner edge of your tires.

Check the brake fluid level on the brakes. My abs light goes off when it is low. You might have a rear leaky brake cylinder and leaking brake fluid which you will never see.

Shudder from struts or read shocks. On my Ford Explorer I replaced the front stuts and still had a rumbling sound. I replaced the read shocks and the noise went away. Learn something every day now.

Disassemble the caliper from the bracket that it's attached to the spindle. Carefully remove both of the bellows and inspect the grease on the slider pins. Uneven pad wear usually caused by either dry pins or loose pins in the cavity where they slide. If one or both pins are dry the cavity is junk. You may need a new or rebuilt caliper and bracket with new slider pins and fresh bellows. It's very important that as the piston pushes against the pad on the inside it does so SQUARELY. If it does not, the actual caliper bracket may not be square it could be bent. That alone will cause the caliper to twist causing uneven pad wear either on the inside or outside. Those poor slider pins will not have a chance to work properly.

Sounds like your tires are out of balance, or your brake rotors are warped. Maybe have them checked.
