Meredith will not die but the bit about Derek rescuing her is yet to be seen. She told him that he was not her knight in shining whatever. He told her he was, but; what if he was wrong. What if a paramedic or rescue worker gets there first? Enter MC EMT. She will definitely have head trauma and that may be problematic being as Derek is the brain surgeon and may not be allowed to operate on her. This also throws a wrench in Preston's schedule as Ellis can not be operated on without Meredith's approval. But don't be surprised if this is just an attempt to get Meredith to say "Yes" to Derek's proposal. She blew it off the first time he talked to her but she could wake up saying "What took you so long?" or perhaps "I know I got hit in the head but did you propose to me? Did I say yes? Perhaps you should give me another Cat Scan, I must be brain damaged."

I am totally addicted to Grey's Anatomy. My best friend IS Meredith Grey! She dated a hot dr last year and then found out he was married. Now she doinks everyone she meets and just last week got a job that makes her travel so she can stop! She even looks like Meredith! What the hell is GAY'S Anatomy

Nah, Meredith can't die! Who would Dr. MacDreamy smooch with? He'll pull her out in the nick of time and she'll have a big revelation of living for the NOW and all will be great again!

I don't think she will die, because then it couldn't be "Grey's Anatomy" anymore. I think McDreamy will save her.

They would not dare kill her off the show. Its really hard to tell right now what will happen going forward...the way they ended last night did not leave you with enough info to go on.

I really really really really hope she doesn't die.
I think Derek will risk his life to save her cuz that's the kind of person he is. Alex can't be the only hero in this ordeal.
