Have you contacted the aida companies directly and asked for their prices?

I buy mine from a woman in ebay & of course buying in bulk is cheaper. She gets the aida straight from DMC in France, so maybe you could try there.

Perhaps a local warehouse which deals in fabric or craft products may be able to help you.
