Anyone out there have heavier than the pink that everyone is talking about and not quite red either. I took a test yester day afternoon an early response it came back with a very light almost non existant positive. That night I went and bought another and planned on trying first thing in the morning. I woke up early with mild cramps and clear redish brown spotting. I went ahead and took another test since I had heard about implatation bleeding another faint line but more visable than the last. The cramps have persisted and so has the light spotting. Very little has showed up on the liner i notice the majority when I go to the bathroom and wipe sometimes I think it looks red other times its more brown not normal though. I have nausea and have been very tired. Any ideas?

I have heard that implantation bleeding is not very common, but when it does occur, it is very light and almost not noticable. If you are bleeding a lot, then I'd say it is your period or a possible miscarriage.

Whatever it is, you should see your doctor.

Just because you're bleeding doesn't NECESSARILY mean anything. I was 3 months along with my last preg. and i had NO CLUE b/c i "thought" i had my period...it was lighter than usual but i dismissed it. I found out this is usually normal even though many other women don't ever get this - it DOESN'T mean anything's wrong but i'm NOT a doctor either.

I've been experiencing the same symptoms...my period was from the 15-19th of Jan, and had sex everyday until the 30th (trying to get preg w/BF) and i'm having the same thing again. I've been preg 2 times previously and i almost "knew" for some reason w/o taking a test, i became extremely moody and snappy at everyone, and i almost immediately wanted to eat everything in sight (NOT always a sure sign though) and my breasts only hurt for a day or so (@ about 2 wks) but that was it.

Around the 9th of Feb. (about 11 days since i last had sex - also about the time it takes your fertilized egg to reach uterus) i felt a sharp pain, then it went away (like a regular cramp but not as strong).
Almost immediately, i started spotting the same night - but it was really light red, and have had the same thing for about 2 days now (everyone's different). It doesn't hurt or cramp up, just little twinges here and there, and i only have to use a thin pantyliner right now. Usually i'm really heavy and cramp a LOT so this unusual bleeding caught my eye, especially since it came about 1 week BEFORE my period was due - my BF thought i was just having it early which i NEVER do!

I have NO other symptoms other than that, but i'm different from you also, no 2 pregs are the ever the same!

Then it became dark brown the next day (i heard it does this when the egg is embedding into your uterus, attaching to the walls-that's why you feel that sudden sharp cramp) which i assume was older tissue lining and "old period blood" that the embryo doesn't need b/c now it's attached and growing. It takes a few days to get rid of all the extra tissue lining that's "in the way" as i call it. Anyhoo, i'm now on day 3 of light bleeding and i thought maybe i was losing it early b/c of my past history, but found out that i'm about 4wk 1day along, and everything's ok.

If you have ANY doubts about it, check in w/your doctor...or even a free clinic like Birthright to make sure. If you're using up a big pad or more a day, with heavy bleeding, tissue, clots, cramping, or anything that seems unusual when you shouldn't be expecting it, CHECK ON IT! Remember this is the internet, a useful but not always as informed as a doctor can be. I hope my thoughts are useful to you! feel free to email me if you wanna talk about anything k? Best wishes! :)

I think you are pregnant because of the positive test results. You should call your ob office and go in for a blood test. They check your hormone (hcg) levels and will be able to confirm whether you are carrying a viable pregnancy.

You should call your doctor for a pregnancy blood test, some woman can get their periods even while they are pregnant.

well, you wouldn't be able to get a test to come up positive if it is implantation bleeding because it would be too soon. you could have been pregnant and are miscarrying. or you are getting ready to start your period. it's one of those.
