The Oscars
I like the (sometimes) clever opening sequences they come up with to make fun of the big movies and this year should be especially awesome since Ellen Degeneres is hosting and she is always hilarious. Also, my friends and I play a bar trivia game during the Oscars where we answer Oscar-related questions and try to guess who is going to win each award.

The Golden Globes, because they get to drink, and sometimes they act a fool. Like Jack Nicholson sticking out his butt to the audience, or Jim Carey throwing a chair on stage and breaking it.
