Well, you are doing well already! The best way to learn is keep on speaking in English and read plenty of English novels. You can even take college-level courses or get a tutor. Good luck!

It's great to see someone actually interested in learning more than just the basics of English. I wish I could say that English is easy, but it just isn't. Compared to Spanish anyways.
The free way to learn more professional English is to read. Plain and simple, READ READ READ. Books will always have new vocabulary, and if you look up works that you don't understand when you find them, you can have a good time while you learn new words.
Of course, you could take English courses. If you're not looking for a degree, I'd suggest enrolling in a community college. They are cheaper, easier to get into, and often have better teachers.
One other option would be to find a tutor, whether formal or informal. That might be the best, but could also be the most expensive.
Good luck learning English. Once you start learning more than the basics, you'll soon realize how many don't know anything more than the basics.

Your desire to speak English is admirable. And to get to the deeper levels will require study. Your parents may not have achieved 'abstract' concepts in English probably. So you need to look outside the family structure.
You will need to mix with only English speakers to get to the more complex situations where academic/deeper English is used. We talk about "small talk" and then there is "big talk" which is what you are hoping to learn.
I have lived in Peru and Ecuador. If we had stayed in the world of the gringos, we would not have learned much Spanish. It is the same for you. You will HAVE to get out of the Spanish speaking community for long stretches of time to increase your vocabulary and learn 'modismos' and 'herga'. Not that I want you to learn bad words, but just the slang of the street is useful sometimes.
Get vocab books and study from English classics (like novels from lists that are in the local library). Good luck.

You can find ESL (English as a Second Language) programs at many colleges. You can also apply for financial aid to get help paying for it. Literacy Volunteers can help you. They are free. Your English is excellent.
I have wonderful memories of Mexico. I spent two summers in Mexico studying Spanish and living with 2 different Mexican families. The people where I stayed were so nice, very polite!!! My host mothers were excellent cooks--the food muy saborosa!!!!
Buena suerte.
