Has there ever been a recorded event where someone was killed by a meteorite?

Or possibly some other airborne debris such as a piece of airplane waste?

The nearest anyone has been to a falling meteorite is when a man was spashed by mud from the meteorite fall.

Not by a meteorite, although they have crashed into Alabama bedrooms, Connecticut dining rooms and a New York automobile.

One day someone will get lucky.

According to some, a person was killed in CHina many many moons ago. But I think it is just a legend. None have ever been recorded in modern times.
