Everytime I attempt to purchase any tickets on ticketmaster, it says I have exceeded my request limits. How am I to buy tickets for anything when I am denied the most simple of requests?

Also, I understand the point of the secret code, but how did you get the secret code to buy tickets pre-sale tickets?

It's pretty simple. They virtually have a monopoly on ticket sales. Being that there is no serious competition, and they are making a ton of money regardless, there is absolutely no incentive for them to have good customer service. So they don't. They just do what is easiest for them. They'll get their money one way or another, so why should they care?

It sucks. There is little you can do about it aside of start your own ticket sales company. Ask Pearl Jam. They know all about it.

i have never had any problems with ticketmaster, and for the code, i actually like that, it slows you down but it makes it so that people cannot set computers up to buy all the tickets, you have to physically go on to do it. although, twice when i bought tix after i get mine which were the best available some better ones pop up, like floor tix, then you want those instead but dont want to get stuck with an extra pair. there actually are many other ticket sales places around now, to disagree, and ironically pearl jam tix are sold through ticketmaster now, despite the big feud.(about ticket prices)

Look more closely at the information on the page or on your offer. There's prolly a limit that you didn't notice.

If you follow all the instructions you should be okay. If you still have trouble, call their customer service number and they can see if the offer you have is still valid etc.

OR: perhaps you already used your code. You can only use the code once. Or did you get the code off someone else? If so, they already used it and ripped you off.

Go buy the CD, get your own code and enjoy the show.

Ticketmaster gets on my nerves too! I wish they let us see what seats are available (from the seating chart and go from there). I also hate having to type in the "secret" code.
