Sometimes I've sat here and thought that formal education should stop at 14. Then 2 or 3 years of informal education where basic life skills are incorporated in the daily grind.
After that the ones that want return to study do so, the others join the workplace. The ones that refuse to do either get allocated voluntary work in return for subsistence payments.

Children need to go to school and have an education but it is the Parent/s responsibility to teach them about living as responsible citizens and contribute to society the best they can and to have a happy life.

Education by Life for kids is a proven way , espesially for kids
living on Farms or remote Islands, it is, in my opinion a
living evil in our Inner Cities, however, Education can only
be gained by those who know better than children,
i.e. Teachers....supported by Parents, our kids can
achieve !!! Lets all go for it !!!

Unless the child is never taken to school or home schooled they will learn from both we learn from everything we encounter in the intire span of our lives and some of it will be usefull and some not,some positive some negitive thats just life.

I don't think that you could say that one or the other as both are very different...
You cant teach someone how to live there life can you.
