I had my daughter, my first child, at 38 weeks. My labor was only 2 hours and 15 minutes. And to think people told me I'd probably go at least to 40 weeks and have a really long labor.

I'm cheating I'm not a first time mom but only with my first child I had him 38weeks. All the others I had a day before, after, or on the due date.

both of my first two were born on their due dates, my third was born two weeks early, and now I am pregnant with twins which will more than likely come early. They say most first timers will go clear to 40 weeks or longer.

I had mine 2 1/2 weeks before my due date. She was perfectly healthy, I think she was just running out of room in there!

I gave birth when I was 38 1/2 weeks along. I just started contractions one morning and 38 hours later she was out! She was very healthy and the labor & delivery went great. She weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces.

My daughter came 8 days before her due date naturally. Because of the size she was measuring, she was scheduled to be induced the next day, but decided she was coming on her own terms.
