I keep hearing about how liberal the media is and I would like to know specific examples of reporting that has omitted specific facts or outright lied in order to promote a specific agenda. Innuendo or suspicions don't count....

Whenever a story is reported on that makes the conservatives look bad it's called liberal. I recall Sean Hannity the day after the invasion of Iraq guaranteeing that WMD's would quickly be found to substantiate the reason for the invasion. To date he has never admitted or discussed the fact that the intelligence was erroneous in the first place. Rush Limbaugh is another example of a conservative that takes extreme pleasure in pointing out the liberal bias in the media. He on the other hand spends 85% of his radio show on any given day dwelling on the short comings of the democratic party. He too regularly spins the conservative message to promote a specific agenda.

Well, lets see, okay... When Rep Foley resigned amidst allegations of improper communications with teenage congressional pages FOX NEWS ran a graphic identifying him as a Democrat from Florida. This ran for almost the entire day. Oh! Wait a minute! My bad. You wanted examples of a liberal bias in the media.
Well heck dude, that's easy. Anytime the media tells us the real story it is branded as liberal bias. When they cleanse the story to reflect what the administration wants us to hear, well they call that Fox News.

Lets take abortion for example.
The reporter will mention Pro-choice and anti-abortion activist not Pro-Life.
Lets take Iraq. Abu Grabi is in the news for weeks on end. The story is page 1 for months and months. Yet when terrorist behead our troops it is a story for the day.
A democrate speaks at a black church nothing is said.
When Frisk spoke at conservative church crys of sepration of church and state.
