Let me tell you from experience every birth is different. Some people do not have severe pain only mild cramping. There is no way to tell what type of delivery you will have. Now, if you are uncomfortable with pain talk with your Dr now about pain meds. C-sections are not easier than vaginal births. I had both. My recovery for the c-section was longer and worse. After my vaginal birth I was fine the next day. It took me two weeks to actually recover from the c-section. Think about it it is an invasive surgery. You have sutures or staples in your mid-section or bikini line. That makes any activities painful. Most importantly discuss your concerns with your Dr. and know your options before you go in labor.

1. Not getting pregnant so you don't have to have a baby.
2. I've never had a c-section but I think that would work.
3. Pain medication epidural.
4. I heard squatting, semi-sitting position (gravity)
5. The birthing pool.
6. Being educated about that stages of labor.

There is no way to give birth without pain before during or after. The easiest way is to have an epideral.. You will be wide awake and able to enjoy the new life and not feel a thing.

Are you asking to compare c-section to vaginal? Epidural to other drugs? More specifics please. Really there isn't a "less painful" method of delivery. There is gonna be pain regardless. Best of luck.
I'm editing to add: there are people on here saying that a c-section doesn't hurt. WHAT?! Ok, so it doesn't hurt during the actual cutting part but it sure hurt a lot AFTER. That is major abdominal surgery. Recovery involves a good bit of pain. It tends to be a little more difficult recovering from a section versus vaginal.

it's different for everybody. but i would say that an uninduced labor with vaginal birth would be best. if you are induced, the contractions are much more painful than a natural labor. having a vaginal delivery lets you recouperate much faster than a c section. i have had 2 vaginal births, and both times i was able to get up and walk around within 2 hours after delivery. if you choose to get an epidural, make sure they closely monitor your blood pressure. with my second daughter i had one, and my blood pressure dropped dangerously low (can't remember top number, but bottom number was 18) and they had to turn it off. but it definetly did it's job when it came to easing the pain.

I would say c section... I never had one but I know from experience, the pushing and all the labor to get the baby out doesnt feel so great...even with the epidural and drugs.
the recovery though is a completely different story.

I would have to go out on a limb here and say...NOT giving birth would be the least painful way to go.

EPIDURAL!! Not at all painful to get....of corse compared to feeling real contractions. Also, I was still able to feel everything else and able to walk within an hour or so after delivery.
