That could be because Republicans in the USA and Conservatives in Canada are racist oil rich pigs.

Bad "observation".

First of all most PEOPLE are honorable. So it stands to reason that most of your Democrat / Liberal acquaintances are honorable. But as the answers here indicate, there are plenty of exceptions on both sides of the fence.

If you are an African American (as your avatar suggests) you should be the LAST person who would want to paint any group with a biased, broad brush (good brush, or bad brush...bias is bias).

Haven't we had enough of that?

Break the chains of your certitude and snoop around a little bit. You might be surprised by what you find.

If you are talking about genuine liberals, of course. But the same is true of genuine conservatives. Most of the corruption on either side (other than the usual percentage of people who are a bit too greedy) comes from the extremists--on either side. These are people who decide that their ends justify any means--and abandon any vestige of integrety or honor to get their own way. You see more in the US the last few years on the conservative side simply because these particular fanatics have been allowed entirely too much power recently. That, and radical left-wing ideologies don't mesh well with American culture anyway. But you'll see the same lack of morality among the leftist fanatics in other countries.

Decent people--of whatever politicalposition--have thes fanatics asa common enemy, whatever their particular fanaticism may be. To correct what Barry Goldwater once said, "Extrimism--in the defense of ANYTHING--is no virtue."

I disagreed because a lot of them are on-mens. The big name is John Kerry. Right now, I am Praying for Mitch Romeny will run against John Kerry for the US Senate from Taxachussets.

Democrats, Republicans, Liberal and Conservatives are all (mostly) honorable. There are a few [from all parties] that are exceptions to the rule.

No. From my long observation of American politics, they aren't. It is far more likely for a Republican/conservative to be honorable.

Again the truth is denied for opinion.
Ted Kennedy, Gerry Studds, Barney Frank, Robert KKK Byrd, Jane Fonda, if that is "honorable" then the world is in very bad shape.

If you call lieing, cheating, murdering young pregnant girls, drinkin' like a fish, standing up for every conceivable human being on the planet except the human beings in your own country, and cheating the taxpayers for a ride on a "Big Girl Airplane" honorable.. then I'd have to say you're correct.

"Studying" is a far cry from the real world. Get out of the ivory tower and meet some Dems/liberals in person. Get ready for a wake up call. And, if you are old enough, remember Hanoi Jane? A good example for you.

If by honor you mean:

lying to the country
allowing a woman to drown in your car and not reporting it
having sex with underaged pages and defending those actions
selling nuclear secrets to communist countries
etc.

then yes, I noticed it too
