I have a Wii, and it is amazing! The graphics aren't good, but it's all about the gaming. It also comes with Wii Sports, which is NOT a demo game and has already won multiple awards at the 2007 AIAS (Annual Interactive Achievment Award) for it's innovation and design. Also, it comes with other great games that have also been nominated or have won recent awards. The innovative Wii remote measures your strength, length from the TV, and many movements at amazing accuracy. Although it depends on what type of gamer you are, either one with regular old school styles, or guy/gal who wants to have fun, the Wii is for everyone. Games in the future will want you to play it old school with a few added movements, and most others will want you to have some innovative fun. Swing the remote, slash a monster, jab the remote, punch a foe, hit A, and go! The Wii is for everone and it is the best!
PS- not even one PS3 game won an award
Wii does have an instant messaging system and an Opera Powered Internet Browser, and classic games, and you can create your own avatar. the Motion sensing controls on the PS3 aren't that good. You can't use it to swing a tennis racket OR POINT AND SHOOT AT A SCREEN FOR AN AWESOME 1ST PERSON SCHOOTING EXPERIENCE!

The wii is a completely new style of system with a controller like a T.V. Remote. The controller is motion sensitive so if you swing it like a sword the character on screen will swing in that direction. The wii also can surf the Internet, check the weather and news and download classic games. Of course since it is a nintendo product it has all the fantactic first party games that nintendo makes. The wii reatials for $250 and comes with a game called wii sports which is all you need for a while. However it is hard to find so if you see one buy it immediatly.

It depends what you are looking for. If you are looking for the most realistic hardcore graphics and on-line play capabilities you should consider a PS3 or Xbox 360. If you are looking for something more affordable and fun, then the Wii is for you. I purchased it two months ago and absolutely love it. Some of my friends who never touch video games love the Wii and are going to buy their own. My parents even play it and they are in their 70's. Main feature of the Wii is the revolutionary remote that senses your every move. Rather than sitting on the couch you actually swing the remote to simulate what you are doing. Whether it be golfing, tennis even boxing and sword fighting. The Wii is extremely fun and interactive. It also has numerous old/out of print games from NES, SNES, N64, T16, and Genesis available on line. For the $250 price tag... the Wii can't be beat.

No, get a PS3, it can do everything the Wii can do and more. It even has motion sensors, like the Wii (it is the main controls for the game Warhawk) Theres also Blu-ray disc drive, which normally costs $1,000, thats whyy it costs so much. With memory stick slots on the PS3 makes it easier to transfer videos music & photos onto its 20GB or 60GB hard drive. It also can play PS2 and PS One games, and dvds. The wii cant even play dvds! It has you can also go on the internet and it even has its own instant messeging program, and the wii doesn't. If you have a PSP your able to hook that up to the PS3 and tranfer files from your PSP to the PS3. You will also be able to use it in more many different things in games (like as the controller and rear view mirror in Formula 1). Plus theres games like Resistance Fall of Man, Madden, and Warhawk (which uses the motion sensors). If there are and glitches or problems i'm sure you will be able to fix them with the system updates, just like the PSP has. It may cost more but that's only cuz you are gettin more and at a better quality.

"how good is the wii ..."
It's wiily good! If you can find one to purchase.
The Wii is a system for all people. Fun games to web browsing to classic games... and all the fun has just started. I'm anticipating greater things to come from Nintendo and company.

the Wii is so much fun. and when you spend the money to get one, you don't just get the system...it actually comes with a game, Wii Sports, that's actually fun for everyone. it's even a way to get some physical activity when you're just sitting there playing video games. i honestly feel it's the best system out there at the moment.
