So I see people carrying mattresses on top of their cars all the time, so I was wondering what's the best way to do that? I have a Saturn ION (half doors in the back-no windows). I will need to transport a queen mattress on the highway this weekend and trying not to purchase a rental truck. Thanks!

A flat matress on the top is the best way to transport...since yours is a comparitively small car,you will need to fold your matress once and fasten it tightly with ropes from inside the car,through the windows and on the matress..this arrangement is better suited for a transport within city limits.However,you can try different patterns of the same arrangement.All the Best!!

1. Put The mattress on top of car. 2. roll windows down and tie mattress to roof through the windows.
3. crawl in your windows because you roped the doors shut.
4. pay to have it delivered!

Ok.. so you spend $300 to $400 on a nice matress. If you fork over another $40 to have it delivered. Its well worth it. No point in risking damage to your car AND your new mattress.

tie to the front of your car via a hook under bumper then over mattress to the rear of the car--again should be some kind of hook then tie the other direction through the doors where you will be inside tying the not.

i do not beleive for a minute that she has a chance of having her pastime back and the reason being, that's Embarassing to the Police branch and judging by technique of the the quantity of situations she has been disciplined interior the previous, she more effective than probably has been utilising her motor vehicle for alot of issues not regarding her pastime. Then to good it off, she filed a "Racial Discrimation" action after being stuck on video. now to not staggering for someone it quite is packing a gun.

buy a carrier on top horizontally so u can block the cares from the side
