Has Bart offended you? I think he is intended to offend everyone. The sad part is that there are kids like Bart, and more who think Bart is cool. These people don't even know they are the subject of the writer's ridicule.
I suggest you watch Bobby Hill on "King of the Hill". Its at the top, where Simpsons has relegated itself to just 2 knotches above Southpark, Ren and Stimpy........ King of the Hill is a GOOD show.
