I have a crush on this guy here at work. I don't know if I'm his type, and I'm also a different race than him, so I have a VERY strong fear of rejection, but I do want to express my feelings for him. How do I do that without letting him know that it's me?

Don't get me wrong, he hasn't said that he doesn't date outside of his race or anything, but let's be honest, there aren't anywhere near as many Black Woman / White Male relationships as other combinations. Because of that I'm scared to approach him.

what is the point in doing things for him if you don't want him to know. ask him if he will like to go to lunch or dinner with you, that someone gave you a gift card for olive gardens or cheese cake factory or any nice restaurant that you know he likes. good luck.

If this guy was shallow enough to reject you because you were a differen't race or type, he doesn't deserve you.
Try putting a small box of chocolates and put it in his backpack, his coat pocket or something.
