Well, if you do that in most work places and get caught you will probably get fired. Also, if a 3rd party walks in by accident, or if one of the involved squeals, the "jobber" and the "jobee" could be brought up on sexual harassment charges at work because they've breeched a sensitivity issue. You are not even supposed to talk about sexual issues at work; if you make someone feel uncomfortable, they can have you dismissed. My workplace has had numerous presentations on this topic.
In short, the Oval Office is a workplace and for a President to be caught in the act while at a place of business is a National embarrassment, lie or not. Be discreet, do it on your own time, ensure privacy, and hope your partner doesn't go blabbing.

At my work, it is NOT OK to receive BJ's in your office nor is it OK to lie.
Check out your works Personnel Manual and I am sure you will find something against nudity, fornication or sexual harassment in the workplace.
Now taking that a step further, if your boss caught you getting a BJ in your office during working hours, would you be fired? What happens if you boss found out that while you were being brought up on sexual harrasment charges you were CONVICTED of perjury and obstruction of justice during the trial?
The President of the United States of America is a position that should be held to the highest standards. The President should be held accountable to offenses that threaten the sanctity of the office. Clinton screwed up, and paid a small price for an egregious lapse in judgement.

It is okay to have a bj in the oval office so long as you don't commit perjury. You can lie to your wife and the public about it because it's none of our business. To be a good president requires working around the clock, considering the president mainly works from home, if he wants to get his "needs" taken care of in there I have no objection. This has been going on for ages and anyone who limits it to democrats has their head in the sand (or someplace worse).
After seeing what a religious zealot can do to this country, I don't care if the president has transvestite prostitute orgies in the oval office as long as we get someone like Bill Clinton back in there.

Lyndon Johnson, FDR, Harding, JFK - all had affairs with women during their Presidency. There's a lot of hypocrisy involved in this subject. JFK for instance. It was common knowledge that he fooled around. But at the time the media had a long standing agreement not to publicize Presidents' affairs, it was deemed immaterial to their performance as Commander in Chief and everyone kept quiet due to respect for the office and the privacy of husband and wife was extended to even the Oval Office. Bill should have understood the media hadn't been in the mood to ignore that type of thing anymore and been more discreet. Do I approve of a man who cheats on his wife? Hell no. Do I think it's the couple's business and not mine? Hell yes. But lying under oath, now THAT'S a problem and it became everybody's business. That's the difference as I see it.

No! Both are crimes, getting the BJ and lying about it. If a Superior officer in the military does that with a subordinate he/she will be court marshaled. Since the Pres. is Commander in Chief of the military, he should be held to the same standard.

It seems odd that our officials-president, cabinet, reps, etc aren't automatically under oath. So, yes, I guess they can lie all they want. Clinton's only mistake was allowing them to put him under oath. You'll notice no one in the Bush team is stupid enough to be put under oath.
