I have a new armoire to out my TV in but there is not a pre cut hole available to run the electrical cords through.

You can either buy a hole saw bit or wood bit at any hardware store or retail store. A cordless drill will suffice to power the bit. Go from the front to the back as they will sometimes splinter panelling. You can also put masking tape over the area to be drilled to cut down on this too.

go to your neighborhood hardware store and buy a hole saw. it hooks to your drill. we've used it for many things. to drill holes through sinks, anything. they're wonderful. one thing to do when drilling, especially w/ a masonite backing (if that's what it has) it to use masking tape on the area you are drilling. it won't gum up on the hole saw, but will keep the masonite from splintering.

Use an electric drill with a hole cutter attachment. It'll work very well.
