The simple answer is: yes.
The detailed answer is: a ninja could defeat a whole crew of pirates.
Pirates and nijas each have their strong points. Pirates are ruthless, hedonistic, and live life to the fullest, thriving on adventure and treasure.
Ninjas live a life of solitude, going on stealthy missions, jumping up walls, and, generally, with the exception of rogue ninjas, avenging injustices.
But in an instance of pirates versus ninjas, ninjas will always win for the following reasons:
1) Pirates are often times drunk. Let's be honest, Pirates do enjoy enbibing on the heavenly nectar- Rum. On average, a pirate will probably be slightly drunk, or a recovering drunk, and then a ninja, who does not give into such temptations, would easily defeat them. But let's say the pirates in question are not drunk, in which case the ninja is still the victor because
2) The ninja's fighting style is based on speed and surprise. Chances are the pirates wouldn't realize they were in a fight with a ninja until it was already over. But even if they were aware of the ninja, the pirate fighting style is based on intimidation, ruthlessness and swordplay. A ninja would not be intimidated by anything, especially a pirate, and Swords and Guns are no match for a ninja who could kill you with a toothpick.
So the only chance that a pirate or two pirates could defeat a ninja is if they were pirates trained in the path of the ninja, but simply do not adhere to the philosophical principles of the ninja. So ultimately the breakdown is as follows:
1 ninja vs 1 pirate - Winner: Always the ninja
1 ninja vs 2 pirates- Winner: The ninja again, it just takes him longer
1 ninja vs 1 pirate ninja: Winner: The first ninja wins, because of his devotion to the philosophy of the ninja.
1 ninja vs 2 pirate ninjas: Winner: It's anyone's guess. If the pirate ninjas are drunk, then the odds are still on the lone ninja, but if not, then it's about 50/50.

Alright, let me put this to rest. Above all, ninjas are spies and masters of deception. Said ninja would disguise himself as a pirate, hang out on the ship and kill stinking pirate in their sleep. I have read accounts of ninjas waiting in bathroom in the toilet and piercing their targets with a spear as they sat down. Seriously. Ninjas are highly trained not only with weapons, but with tools and whatever else they may need. A pirate is just a lazy and often uneducated criminal. Ninjas will always own pirates.

with her or his hands tied behing thier back.
a ninja is 1 in a trillion. very few people possess such skill.
when you do come across one you wouldnt know it.
pirates would attack with swords which the "ninja" is EXTREMLY proficient in, not being able to land a single blow the pirates would grow tired then they would have broken colar bones a few seconds later, your better off being nice.you never know who you have in front of you.and maybe someday, people will treat you the way you treat others.
