Like the little dogs that bark at the big dogs!
They think the Bigger dogs will get tired & finally fall
asleep from boredom, while they try to steal all their food!!!

FDR was a liberal and led the Country in WWII. Conservative isolationists like Lindbergh wanted to keep us out of the War tacitly supported Hitler.
When were liberals right? The liberals that wrote the declaration of independence, fought the British and wrote the contitution. Albolished salvery, stopped child labor, gave women the right to vote, abolished Jim Crow and Segregation, passed the CIvil Rihgts Act and the Voting Rights Act, took the iniative to stop Air and Water Pollution.
Many conservatives have an irrational fear of terrorism totally out of proportion to the actual threat and are afraid of gays, minorties and space aliens.

Wasn't it Henry Ford that recieved medals from Hitler? All republicans want is to maintain the status quo. Ergo, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Liberals afraid? Tell that to the chicken hawks on capital hill that are republicans. You know, the moron that got deferments and the retard that snorted cocaine while in the national guard. Also, why are republicans more likely to touch little kids inappropriately?

WWII was won by the king of all liberals...FDR for starters. It was in fact the conservatives that were isolationists before and shortly after WWII.
As for our modern times...we do recognize and attack EVIL...and Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz et. al. are PURE EVIL.
Google PNAC and find out what these minions of Satan are really up to.

Probably because Evil is just a word. It can't be attacked. We should probably stick to fighting real wars instead of declaring war against nouns and adjectives like poverty, drugs, evil, terrorism. You can't really win, which means the war just goes on forever.
. . .
And by the way...
For those of you keeping score:
History of:
Conservatives:
against women's voting rights
against homosexual rights
against significant scientific progress because of vague religious morals
pro-slavery
Liberals:
anti-slavery
pro-women's rights
against discrimination
pro-science
pro-rational thought
Which side are you on?

Sorry Sparky, but it was the Dems that confronted Germany and Imperial Japan.
Many Cons at the time (e.g., Henry Ford, Prescott Bush) were vocal admirers and supporters of Hitler.
"I regard Henry Ford as my inspiration," Hitler told a Detroit News reporter two years before becoming the German chancellor in 1933, explaining why he kept a life-size portrait of the American automaker next to his desk.
