Smell is my best sense, so I have a lot of things that comfort me. A few are mulberry, chanel #5, and windex...those just remind me of my mom. Those are some off the top of my head, but I relate almost everything with a scent...

The scent of Lemongrass. Also, the herb Rosemary. I love to rub my hands up against a little rosemary tree. The scent stays on your hands and stays with you a long time.

I like the smell of rain, and any japanese cooking, lavender, roses, lemon, and there are a lot of scent-memories tied to places and things that I can't quite guess what they are, but those too.

Sometimes if I pet Rowdy before I go to work, I can still smell his "doggy smell" from his fur on my hands, and then I don't miss him so much.
That, and I know he needs a bath.
